Miley Cyrus has personally squashed the swirling rumors that she might have gotten engaged to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus took to her Twitter account on Monday, March 26 and set the record straight by writing in a post, "I'm not engaged."
The former leading lady of Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" went on to note, "I've worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to tal about!" She further pointed out that the rumored engagement ring is not even a diamond. "It's a topaz people!" so she ended her tweet.
Cyrus and Hemsworth have been dating on-and-off since they first met on the set of their 2009 film "The Last Song". Speculations about their engagement started on March 22 after the 19-year-old songstress posted a photo of her manicured left hand which sported the sparkler. A couple days afterward, she was seen rocking the same ring at Muhammad Ali's "Celebrity Fight Night XIII".
