These two musical acts are personally chosen by David Cameron and President Barack Obama because they are their respective favorites.

AceShowbiz - After making a performance at the Grammys last month, Mumford & Sons were invited to the State Dinner at The White House on Wednesday, March 14. U.K. leader David Cameron is a fan of the folk singers and has appointed them to become one of the performers at the gala to honor his visit to the U.S.

The dinner will be attended by around 1,000 guests including billionaire Sir Richard Branson, actor Damian Lewis and TV star Hugh Bonneville. For his part, Obama has selected John Legend to entertain the crowd at the formal feast.

On a side note, Lewis' TV show "Homeland" is one of Obama's favorite programs. "I'm going to fly to Washington, have dinner and fly back. There will probably be a thousand of his closest friends but I don't care, I'm going," Lewis said as quoted by Telegraph U.K., adding that he would be accompanied by his wife, actress Helen McCrory.
