The reunited rock band give no room for the glum as they rock out and bring a lot of enthusiasm to the MSG which is jam-packed with their hardcore fans.

AceShowbiz - Though they had been off the road for around three years, Van Halen haven't lost their charm. Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth, along with newest member Wolfgang Van Halen, had the crowd on their feet for the entire show when they stopped by Madison Square Garden as part of their reunion tour.

Before the reunited rock band took the stage, soul/jazz group Kool and the Gang warmed up the concert with their signature funk music. They performed such songs as "Jungle Boogie", "Ladies Night", "Fresh", "Emergency" and "Celebration" during their short set.

Once the opening set was over, Alex kicked off the main show by playing a quick drum beat before his brother Eddie greeted the fans with a familiar intro to "You Really Got Me". David then emerged wearing a Neil Diamond-style sequined jacket and equipped himself with a giant silver baton which he twirled around while making his way to the stage.

They pampered the crowd with old favorites like "Runnin' With The Devil", "Hot For Teacher", "Romeo Delight" and "Women In Love" before launching into their new materials from latest album "A Different Kind of Truth" such as "Tattoo" and "China Town". In the middle of singing the "China Town", David confessed, "I forgot the f**king words...Go to the chorus."

David's signature dance moves including the high leg kicks, Eddie's guitar solos and the bromance among the members were among the highlighted moments on the reunion stage. Wolfgang, who's the youngest member, also seemed in his top form as a bassist and backing vocalist.

Those who missed the concert could come to the MSG on Thursday night, March 1 to catch their second gig.
