Police came to the venue at around 11:30 P.M. after a call from Roxy staff who reported that Tyler had "just destroyed an electric soundboard belonging to the venue." According to TMZ, Tyler was then escorted out of the place to a nearby radio car and "the crowd exiting the venue became angry and rushed into the street, towards deputies."

Tyler's mother who witnessed the incident looked visibly upset and yelled at the cops. Cops had to call for backup and close down Sunset Blvd for 30 minutes to regain control of the situation. It ended with no one injured.

Tyler was booked to a nearby prison for suspicion of vandalism. It was found out through an audience's video that Tyler had an altercation with the sound engineer. Beside launching profanity, the rapper also threw a microphone at the staff.
