Mystic Falls is not yet safe from Klaus' evil plan. After they failed to banish the original vampire, Elena and her acquaintances may be targeted in his big revenge when "The Vampire Diaries" returns in midseason.

Klaus threatens to kill everyone whom Stefan has ever met since the younger Salvatore has got his hand on Klaus' family. Knowing the risk of being involved in Klaus vs. Stefan showdown, Elena's brother Jeremy may be one of those who fall victim to the fight.

The tenth episode of "Vampire Diaries" season 3 will not air until January 5, 2012 as it takes a hiatus after airing the November 10 episode. Expect to see new faces in the remaining of the season since several actors have recently been tapped for guest-starring roles.

Torrey DeVitto, who happens to be Paul Wesley's wife, is cast as an intelligent young doctor named Mary who is intrigued by Alaric's powers of recovery. "Girlfriends" alum Persia White, meanwhile, will portray Abby Bennett who abandoned her daughter Bonnie.
