A first teaser trailer for "ParaNorman" has found its way out via Yahoo! Movies. This brand new sneak peek features no dialogue, but presents the fantastical creatures that spread terror in Norman's neighborhood. Donovan's "Season of the Witch" plays as its background music.
A small town comes under siege by zombies, and the only one that could stop the zombies is misunderstood local boy Norman, who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, this young ghoul whisperer will have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst of all, moronic grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse, but he may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.
"ParaNorman" has Kodi Smit-McPhee filling the voice of Norman. He is joined by Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck, John Goodman and Bernard Hill. Directed by Sam Fell and Chris Butler, this animated film is set to open in theaters across the United States on August 17, 2012.
