AceShowbiz - More than ten years after it was off the air, "Beavis and Butt-Head" proves that it is still missed by fans. The highly-anticipated return on Thursday, October 27 lured in 3.3 million viewers for MTV, while it had to compete against Game 6 of the World Series.
The premiere of the revived series posted a 2.6 rating among audiences aged 12 to 34 years old. It also attracted men to the female-skewing channel with a 3.4 males 12-34 rating to be placed behind "Jersey Shore" as MTV's top series in the demo.
Following "Beavis and Butt-Head" premiere at 10 P.M., MTV debuted another new show "Good Vibes". It lost half of its lead-in viewers, with 1.6 million total viewers and a 1.4 rating in 12-34 demo.
