Carson Kressley has made an admission that Anna Trebunskaya was not his first choice to dance with on "Dancing with the Stars". Appearing on "Good Morning America" a day after he was voted off the competition, the fashion expert revealed that he initially wanted to be paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

"I was kind of hoping for Maks. I was like, 'Wait, you're not Maks," he said while comparing the show to online dating where people do not know their partners until they meet. However, he is glad to be partnered with Anna as he found out that "she is so much better than Max, so much lighter." He went on adding, "I could not have asked for a better partner."

Anna herself had nothing but good words for Carson. "In my book, Carson was the greatest student because he practiced so hard and kept me laughing the whole time," she said, responding to the "GMA" host's question about the low score they got from judges this week.

On the positive thing he got from joining "DWTS", Carson said, "Everyone tells you that it's a very challenging show and you're going to lose lots of weight and be in the best shape ever, and it basically is." He added, "I'm not down to my birth weight yet, but I'm going to keep dancing."

"It's a great form of exercise that I'd recommend to everyone watching," the former "Queer Eye" star went on stressing. "My words of wisdom are, try something new. Life is short. Have fun, dance to the music and enjoy it."

Asked who he thinks will win the Mirrorball Trophy, Carson joked, "We're here in the ballroom right now I see the Mirrorball Trophy right up there. I'm thinking I'm going to unscrew it and take it home with me tonight."

Carson was sent home during "DWTS" result show on Tuesday, October 18. He got the lowest score two weeks in a row despite his fun and entertaining performances.
