A high-school prank night turns deadly in the upcoming episode "The Vampire Diaries". Caroline is determined to see that Elena, Bonnie, Matt and Tyler all enjoy a traditional Senior Prank Night before the school year begins at Mystic Falls High School, but the fun evening will be interrupted with the arrival of uninvited guests.
Ruining Caroline's plan is highly likely Klaus who has a more wicked plan for Stefan and Elena. As he finds out that Elena is still alive, Klaus sets things up so that Stefan has to feed on his own girlfriend, knowing that he is not going to be able to stop and Elena will die.
With the clock ticking, Damon convinces Jeremy that he can use his new connection to the other side to help find a way to defeat Klaus. The question of whether or not Stefan bites Elena will be answered when "The Reckoning" airs next Thursday, October 13 at 8/7c on The CW.
In another news, it has been reported that Alice Evans has been cast as Esther, the mother of the Originals who is described as fierce and strong as Klaus, but is more into protecting her family. She will first appear in the eighth episode of season 3 in flashbacks. Evans previously portrayed a young Eloise Hawking on "Lost".
