Damian McGinty and Samuel Larsen get seven-episode arc on 'Glee' season 3, while runner-ups Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell score two-episode guest arcs.

Ryan Murphy dropped the bombshell in "The Glee Project" season finale which aired on Sunday, August 21. Instead of crowing one champion, he announced two winners: Damian McGinty and Samuel Larsen.

Both Damian and Samuel get seven-episode arc each in season 3 of "Glee" as the prize. Meanwhile, the other top four finalists, Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell, will guest star on the FOX musical series in two episodes each.

The final episode started with the four remaining contestants performing "Don't Stop Believin' " for their homework assignment, which ended up with no winner. Murphy had to stop it, calling it a little flat.

They also shot a video for their cover of Pink's "Raise Your Glass", on the heli-pad of a 35 story skyscraper in Los Angeles, during which they were joined by the previously eliminated contestants. For their last performance, Samuel, Damian, Lindsay and Alex sang a song which they picked themselves.

In the finale, it was also revealed that Cameron Mitchell has been voted as the Bing fan favorite. The 21-year-old self-declared nerd walked out of the show in the seventh week after refusing to kiss a girl for the sake of acting.
