Around a week after she got arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Samantha Ronson stares down two misdemeanor counts. The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office has confirmed that the ex-girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan has been charged with driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or above.
If she's found guilty on both counts, the younger sister of music producer Mark Ronson faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine. First-time offenders, however, almost always walk away with probation. The celebrity DJ is due in court for arraignment on September 23.
Sam was placed under arrest outside Baker, California on August 1 after refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test. She was pulled over for speeding when driving her black Porsche home from Las Vegas. After news of the arrest broke, friends claimed that the 34-year-old, who smirked in her mug shot, has "not been acting like herself" lately.
