AceShowbiz - The wait is finally over. Hundreds of fans who camped out near London's Trafalgar Square for the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" had their wish fulfilled as they met their idols Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint on Thursday, June 7.
Daniel and Rupert suited up in a tuxedo, while Emma walked down the red carpet in a beautiful Oscar de la Renta sand tulle sleeveless gown with embroidered bodice and full skirt. At one point, she wore a white crepe jacket with an open front and padded shoulders on top of the strapless gown. The three actors took time to pose together for the awaiting fans and photographers with Emma being sandwiched between the two guys.
Like the Hermione depicter, most of the other female attendees opted an elegant outfit with long skirt. Bonnie Wright wore a peach/nude long sleeve dress with a ruffle bodice and finished off her look with a matching satin clutch and sandals. Jade Gordon, who came to the event with tux-clad Tom Felton, looked gorgeous wearing a white strapless gown with a floral applique skirt.
Helena Bonham Carter chose a one-shoulder dress, Amanda Bynes showed off her long legs in a V-plunging number, and "Harry Potter" book writer J.K. Rowling covered up in a green silk faille gown with a sweetheart neckline and applique embroidered details. The mother of three locked lips with her husband of 10 years Neil Murray.
The other guests attending the movie screening were Pixie Geldof and Peaches Geldof who opted tube dress for the event. Director Guy Ritchie tagged along his pregnant girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley. The Saturdays' singer Mollie King flaunted her toned legs in a Julien Macdonald dress with floaty bohemian feel.
"Deathly Hallows Part 2" will end the hit film series with an epic final battle which witnesses Harry Potter and the Dark Lord's climactic showdown. The adventure fantasy movie will be released in the U.S. on July 15. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will return as Harry, Ron and Hermione respectively.
