During her appearance on 'Lopez Tonight', the former star of 'The Hills' offers the reason why she was out of the spotlight for the past six months and reveals what draws her back.

Heidi Montag has been absent from the spotlight for the past six months. The former star of "The Hills" made an appearance on "Lopez Tonight" last Monday night, May 9, and opened up to host George Lopez about the reason why she has been keeping herself away from public eye.
"I just needed a break after such a crazy six years of my life and being in LA and Hollywood so much," the 24-year-old explained. She added, "I just kind of wanted a spa or something... It gets a little overwhelming." On what she's been doing during the break, she said, "I've been with my puppies and my husband. It's low-key."
On how her husband Spencer Pratt dealt with keeping low-profile, the reality star who made a cameo appearance on "Just Go With It" shared, "He's actually been enjoying being out [of the spotlight]." She continued, "I don't know if he'll ever come back in. He's loving the vacation and relaxing. It's a nice switch up."
As for what reeled her back in, Heidi dished on her new VH1 reality series "Famous Food". Speaking of the show, she gushed, "We started a restaurant from scratch. There's seven celebrities..." She went on to dish, "We have to find wallpaper and decorate it, and [find] a menu -- and I found the chef!"
