Neil Patrick Harris continued to be a coveted host and performer at awards shows. A report emerged a day after the 65th Tony Awards nominations were announced that the actor is hired to host the awards-giving show once again.

Harris hosted Tonys in 2009 and did such an impressive job that he was tapped to host the Emmys that year. From there, he went on performing a musical number at the 82nd Academy Awards and hosting 2010 Spike's Video Game Awards.

Harris' stint for this year's Tonys is yet made official. Deadline said his position as the one of the stars in CBS' juggernaut "How I Met Your Mother" definitely is an added value. Beside, last year's host Sean Hayes would be occupied with his starring role in "The Three Stooges" movie.

The 65th Annual Tony Awards will be held on June 12 to recognize achievement in Broadway productions during the 2010-2011 season. They will be held at the Beacon Theatre, ending a fourteen-year tradition of holding the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall.
