While he denied having romantic relationship with Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams is open to the idea of him dating fellow "American Idol" contestant Lauren Alaina. The aspiring singer from Idyllwild, California suggested the possibility when asked if he would ever date Haley during an interview with OK! magazine.

"Would I? I don't know. No. I never would. Ever," said the 20-year-old crooner. "No, the thing is that we're such close friends, so it would probably ruin the friendship. But I only know her in the Idol world, but who knows? Maybe I could date Lauren Alaina in, like, five years. That's why I don't wanna say no or yes."

Aside from Lauren, Casey also joked that there is a chance that he might romance previously-eliminated finalist Pia Toscano as well. "Maybe I'll be dating Pia," so he said, "maybe she'll call me up tomorrow and want to date me."

During the chat, the quirky singer additionally stressed he and Haley are not dating. "I thought it was obvious that we weren't," he said. "I saw it in magazines and I was like, 'Oh, rumors, rumors, whatever, people.' Then I realized it was getting out of hand when one of my best friends said, 'I'm pissed. Why didn't you tell me this?' I'm like, 'Why are you believing this stuff?' "

Just recently, it was reported that Casey is rallying behind Haley. TMZ claimed that the singer who finished sixth on season 10 of "Idol" has been telling his family, friends and hometown supporters to use their votes to send the 20-year-old competitor from Wheeling, Illinois through to the Top 4.
