Bradley Cooper Vying for Main Role in 'The Crow'

The 'Limitless' actor is allegedly in talks with Relativity Media to take the main role in the reboot of the 1994 film.

AceShowbiz - Rumor has it, Bradley Cooper is in negotiations with Relativity Media to star in "The Crow". The Eddie Morra of "Limitless" is reportedly in early talks to take the lead role, which was played by late Brandon Lee in the original version.

The Hollwood Reporter reports that Cooper has met Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo in Spain, where they discussed a vision for the character and the film. The actor of "The Hangover Part II" is said to be eagerly joining the movie.

"The Crow" is a reboot of 1994 film of the same name. Based on a comic by James O'Barr, the movie centers on a man who is brutally killed while trying to save his lover. After he was murdered, the man comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancee's murder.

Nick Cave has been hired to rewrite the script with a draft from Stephen Norrington. Produced by Ryan Kavanaugh, Jeff Most, and Edward R. Pressman, the upcoming action thriller film is expected to make its way out in 2012.
