Snoop Dogg released the music video for "My Own Way" two days ahead of his latest album's release. Beside chronicling the rapper's lifestyle as a superstar, the video includes some reference about the late Nate Dogg. Snoop, assisted by Mr. Porter, moved the crowd in a small club by wearing RIP Nate Dogg shirt.

Snoop and Nate formed a close knit during high school when they went under 213 with Warren G. During Nate's memorial on Saturday, March 26, an emotional Snoop said, "1986, Poly High School, that's where we connected for the first time. We didn't know each other, but the music connected us. We built a brotherhood, a friendship."

"My Own Way" is one of the singles lifted from Snoop's "Doggumentary" which is due March 29 in the U.S. A conceptual follow-up to his 1993 debut "Doggystyle", the album has been released on Snoop's MySpace in its entirety.
