Zac Efron is currently busy filming "New Year's Eve" in New York and he has been spotted taking a ride with Michelle Pfeiffer during the filming on February 24. Wearing helmets which covered most of their faces, the two actors hopped on a Vespa with the 52-year-old beauty sometimes closing in her head on Efron's as if she tried to hear what he said.

Earlier the same day, Efron was snapped riding a bike while carrying a backpack. He was seen approaching Pfeiffer, covered in a huge jacket, before they walked together. Previously on Wednesday, the Golden Globe-winning actress shot a scene where she tossed herself into a big pile of garbage and her co-star could not help but laughed at it.

"New Year's Eve" is filmed under the direction of "Valentine's Day" helmer Garry Marshall. The upcoming December 19 release has a star-studded cast ensemble consisting of Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank, Sarah Jessica Parker and many others. Halle Berry was recently confirmed to star in the movie after previously dropping out of the project.

An official synopsis for the film has not been released but it has been said to tell intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they navigate their way through romance over the course of New Year's Eve.
