AceShowbiz - Next season, "The Vampire Diaries" will have Katherine returning to Mystic Falls, which means it's the year of the Kat. This fresh clip shows how the comeback of the female vampire affects Stefan, Elena, Damon and people around them and what they do to fight her.
"The Vampire Diaries" will start season 2 with an episode called "The Return". Aired on September 9, it will see Elena coming home to a nightmare; Damon realizing Katherine has returned; and Tyler receiving a surprise visit from his uncle.
With the appearance of Katherine, the other residents of Mystic Falls must choose sides as they fall victim to a new breed of danger. New and unexpected friendships will be forged, allies will become enemies, and hearts will be broken.
