On Sunday, June 6 during a pre-show of MTV Movie Awards, a 30-second snippet of Katy Perry's "California Gurls" music video is brought forward. She is seen dancing barefoot in bright-colored shorts and candy-styled bras with several ladies.
Snoop Dogg who lends his vocal on the song is also featured in the sneak peek. Nearing the end of the snippet, Katy is captured sporting different bras which are equipped with a pair of cannons that launch frosting to the camera.
"California Gurls" is the lead single from Katy Perry's upcoming studio album "Teenage Dream" which is due in the U.S. on August 24. The song will be showcased live for the very first time on national TV during the telecast of this year's MTV Movie Awards which takes place at Gibson Amphitheatre in California.
Before coming to the awards show, Katy Perry held a listening party for her upcoming summer release in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, June 2.
