The first full trailer for "Charlie St. Cloud" has been brought forward to tease people of what can be seen from this Zac Efron-starring film. Opened with the scene in which the lead actor survived a car accident but lost his brother, the video debuted by Apple then sees how his late brother lives in his imagination after the tragedy while he finds his love interest.
In addition to the trailer, Universal Pictures has also provided other sneak peeks in form of several brand new pictures. One of them is a poster, while the others are production photos which give preview to the film scenes.
Accomplished sailor Charlie St. Cloud has a bright future which is cut short when a tragedy that costs him his brother's life strikes and takes his dreams with it. As he meets high-school classmate Tess again and falls in love with her, Charlie is torn between honoring a promise he made four years earlier and moving forward with newfound love.
Based on 2004 Ben Sherwood novel "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud", the film highlights the journey of a young man who tries to let go of the past for good while discovering the transformative power of love. It is directed by Burr Steers.
Zac Efron is joined by Charlie Tahan who stars as his little brother Sam and Amanda Crew who plays his love interest. Oscar winner Kim Basinger also supports the cast ensemble, taking the role of Charlie St. Cloud's mother. This romantic drama will hit U.S. theaters on July 30.
