The first half of the trailer shows similar footage from the previously released trailer before it previews fresh scenes, while the TV spot shares a glimpse of new creepy sequence.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. Pictures has given new previews to "A Nightmare on Elm Street" by debuting a fresh trailer as well as TV spot. The full-length trailer which reportedly comes out before "Clash of the Titans" screenings has now been leaked online and the first half of the video is similar to the scenes included in the previously released trailer in which Kellan Lutz's Dean is seen at an eatery.

However, the newly released trailer shares a lot of new footage from the middle towards the end of it, including the part when Katie Cassidy's Kris tells herself to stay awake while she is in a classroom. The new TV spot also gives a brief look at never-before-seen footage which shows how Freddy Krueger threatens his victim's life.

A remake of Wes Craven's 1984 film with the same title, "A Nightmare on Elm Street" will see horribly disfigured killer Freddy Krueger returning to hunt suburban teenagers, including Nancy Thompson and her boyfriend Quentin, through their dreams. Trying to stay away from death, they struggle not to fall asleep.

Jackie Earle Haley is chosen to be the serial killer with Rooney Mara and Kyle Gallner playing Nancy and Quentin respectively. Directed by Samuel Bayer and produced by Michael Bay alongside Bradley Fuller and Andrew Form, this horror movie will spread the thrill to moviegoers in the U.S. starting April 30.
