Some new sneak peeks for "The Runaways" have been brought forward to tease audience. One snippet, which comes out via MovieTickets.com, gives a preview to Joan Jett who utters her plan to make an all-girl rock band and then is introduced to female drummer Sandy West. The two are later seen playing some rehearsal tunes for their manager Kim Fowley in the clip which is debuted by Rolling Stone.

The film will follow the formation of 1970s band The Runaways through to Cherie Currie's departure at the peak of their success. It will also highlight the relationship between lead vocalist/keyboardist Cherie and guitarist/vocalist Joan.

Beside Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart who take the lead roles of Cherie and Joan respectively, "The Runaways" has Scout Taylor-Compton starring as Lita Ford, Stella Maeve as Sandy West and Alia Shawkat as fictional character Robin. Meanwhile, their manager Kim Fowley is portrayed by Michael Shannon. This biopic is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on April 9.
