TV

Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and others answer fans' curiosity of upcoming episodes by giving a few spoilers.

AceShowbiz -

The cast of "The Vampire Diaries" attended the 2010 Paley Festival on Saturday, March 6 accompanied by series' producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. During their panel, the team answered some questions from fans as well as press, and presented a preview to the upcoming episode "A Few Good Men".

Revealing a hint about the March 25 episode, the producers said the tension between Damon and Alaric reaches its climax when Damon's involvement in Isobel's death is unveiled. Apart from the guest starring appearance of Melinda Clarke as Matt's mother, there will be two new mysterious characters introduced in the episode.

Williamson said he's preparing seven to nine cliffhangers to make sure the show will end the first season with a bang. Paul Wesley said his character Stefan will reveal more layers since he harbors another secret. A new device that goes beyond the vampire compass will also be featured in a future episode.

Another spoiler was also thrown out during the red carpet interview. To Zap2It, Plec revealed, "Katherine is not only alive, but she is off and harlot-ing it up somewhere. Last seen in Chicago, she's probably in Bora Bora right now. She's kind of a little slut if you think about it." Damon will be devastated upon learning the news that the woman he's grieving for 150 years is alive and couldn't care less about him.

Moving away from the show, Wesley, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev showed an off-screen chemistry when the boys teased Dobrev. "We were only away for one day," Somerhalder said, recalling a trip when Dobrev's luggage got lost. "Paul and I had backpacks, and Nina had this big suitcase." The actress chimed in, "They left me at the airport. On my birthday!"
