AceShowbiz - "Remember Me" has chosen New York City to hold the first premiere on Monday, March 1. That night, the film which is set in "the city that never sleeps" rolled out red carpet in front of the Paris Theatre to welcome all the guests, including the cast and crew for the film.
Robert Pattinson was one of the stars who had been waited by fans outside the building. Donning a black and white outfit, the actor came out with his original style as he let his hair unkempt. He was later joined by his on-screen lover Emilie de Ravin who looked beautiful with a white dress. The two posed together alongside their co-star Ruby Jerins.
Pattinson's "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart, who is constantly romantically linked to him, also showed her support by attending the event. Wearing a black shirt and leather jacket matched with creme-colored trousers, she hit the red carpet alone and was not pictured along with Pattinson.
The rest of the attendees that night were mostly the film's cast. Pierce Brosnan was seen walking hand in hand with wife Keely Shaye Smith when coming to the venue, while Lena Olin brought her director husband Lasse Hallstrom. Additionally, Chris Cooper, Gregory Jbara, Tate Ellington as well as "Remember Me" director Allen Coulter did not miss the premiere.
Picking up the story about the power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of living passionately and treasuring every day of one's life, "Remember Me" follows a rebellious young man named Tyler Roth who has a strained relationship with his father. This drama will hit U.S. theaters starting March 12.
