Several scenes from movie "Dear John" are compiled and featured in the new version of Snow Patrol's "Set the Fire to the Third Bar" music video. It mostly highlights the film's two lead characters Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum.
"Set the Fire" actually is a song recorded for the band's fourth studio album "Eyes Open" which has been in stores since 2006. The song is then picked up to serve as one of the anthems for the romantic drama movie directed by Lasse Hallstrom.
In addition to having a song from Snow Patrol, the soundtrack album also lists other singles performed by Bob Marley and The Wailers, Fink as well as the leading lady in the film, Amanda Seyfried. The record has hit the stores across U.S. on February 2, three days before the movie release date.
