TV

The drama show starring 'Doctor Who' David Tennant was originally put as a replacement of 'The Jay Leno Show' which is no longer available starting next month.

Previously scheduled to fill in the vacant slot left by "The Jay Leno Show" at 10/9c, "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer" is reportedly scrapped from the plan. The new show starring David Tennant may not come as soon as expected because "the sets are coming down this week," EW's mole said.

Nevertheless, the drama, which is also starring Jerry O'Connell, is still considered for a Fall debut. "The sets are on fold-and-hold. They will still be available if the show is picked up for the fall," the insider added.

Jay Leno is scheduled to return to his old seat as the host of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" starting March 1. NBC is still accumulating which shows should take over the 10/9c hour.

"Rex Is Not Your Lawyer" follows top notch lawyer Rex Alexander who begins developing panic attacks. He switches job to mentor clients so that they could present themselves well during court. Jerry O'Connell will be an ambitious but "good-natured" lawyer who is friends with Rex and is secretly in love with Rex's fiancee.
