Movie

One of the new pictures from the film features Ethan Hawke's Edward Dalton as a scientist while the other one captures him bringing a weapon alongside Willem Dafoe's Elvis.

AceShowbiz - Trailer Park's MySpace Blog has got its hand on two new stills from thriller movie "Daybreakers". In the two images that have been released on Wednesday, November 18, Ethan Hawke's Edward Dalton is being exposed in his two different activities.

In the first picture, Edward is seen wearing a white coat while standing in front of a microscope in what seems to be a laboratory. The other photo, meanwhile, captures the vampire researcher and Willem Dafoe's Elvis, who both bring a weapon.

"Daybreakers" is set in 2017, when a plague transforms the world's population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a secret team of vampires uncovers a way that would rescue the human race. At the same time, a group of surviving humans wishes to repopulate the species and survive.

Shot in Australia from July to September 2007, the action movie comes from writer-director duo, Peter and Michael Spierig. "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" actress, Isabel Lucas, will also make an appearance in this thriller alongside Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill and other cast members. The film will be premiered in the U.S. on January 8, 2010.
