Calle 13 take home five golden gramophones at Latin Grammy Awards which has been held at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Calle 13 have won in every category they were nominated at the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. It means that the Hip-Hop / alternative-reggae duo, Residente and Visitante, walked home with five trophies at the November 5 ceremony.

"To all the people who make music in this moment of independent music, to hell with record labels!" Residente said when collecting Best Alternative Song prize for the band's track "No Hay Nadie Como Tu". "This is the moment for those of us who make real music."

Calle 13 got the other four nods in categories Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Urban Music Album and Best Short Form Music Video. This is the second time they bagged a golden gramophone for Best Urban Music Album as last year they also took the honor.

Other winners at the event were Alexander Acha, Laura Pausini, Fito Paez, Reik and Draco Rosa among others. As for its special honoree, Juan Gabriel was handed with 2009 Person of the Year Award by Enrique Iglesias. Performing at the show, meanwhile, were Alicia Keys, Alejandro Sanz, Wisin & Yandel, Daniela Mercury and more.
