Hugh says he wants to nab the same title this year though at the same time admits that the label has been a little demanding.

Chosen as the Sexiest Man Alive of 2008 by People magazine, Hugh Jackman has no hesitation to tell the publication that he wants to reclaim the title for this year. When asked by People on who he thinks deserves to be named the next Sexiest Man Alive, he said "Me! I want to be the first to have it back to back, buddy", while attending the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert on Friday, October 30 in New York.
"That would be fantastic!" he gushed. The 41-year-old movie hunk, however, didn't mention the reason why he deserves the predicate one more time. He instead shared with the weekly magazine about the pressure the title has caused him, saying "I thought there were thousands of other guys that deserved it, but it's been a great year. But now the pressures off. I can be a slob again."
Named the No. 1 Sexiest Man Alive in 2008 by People magazine, Hugh Jackman was described as "a triple threat: a star who can sing, dance and wield a weapon." He put aside heavy contenders like Daniel Craig and Jon Hamm, both of whom won the 2nd and 3rd slots respectively.
