A series of brand new stills from the forthcoming "Saw VI" have made its rounds. Found via Bloody-Disgusting, all of the five photos focus on one particular character from the sixth installment of the thriller series. One picture in particular presents a new deadly trap, while another one exposes some clues written on the wall.
This sixth installment of the "Saw" series uncovers that Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.
"The Strangers" editor Kevin Greutert takes over the directing part of "Saw VI" from "Saw V" helmer David Hackl. Screenwriter duo Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton return to pen the script. Shawnee Smith, Mark Rolston, Betsy Russell, Costas Mandylor and James Van Patten are among the cast ensemble. The movie will open wide in the U.S. on October 23.
