AceShowbiz - New love couple, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, is gearing up to walk down the altar despite the fact that they have just been dating for only about a month. Following earlier reports of them planning to get hitched, a new story has just surfaced that they are about to wed this coming Sunday, September 27 in the Los Angeles area.
"Khloe and Lamar want to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the [basketball] season starts up [this fall]," a source tells Us Weekly of the couple's wedding plans. "They are hoping to pull together a wedding ... so they can get married and have time for a honeymoon."
Khloe and Lamar reportedly will hold their wedding ceremony at the L.A.-area home of music manager Irving Azoff, who is a family friend of the Kardashians. Meanwhile, People reports as being informed by several sources that the ceremony is being thrown together so quickly thus guests are being notified by phone that formal invitations will arrive this week.
No further detail about the reported planned nuptials is being provided at the time of writing. It is also not known on who will be invited to come to the event. Should the pair make it to the altar, the wedding will be the first for both Khloe and Lamar. The basketball player has had three children; Destiny, Lamar Jr., and Jayden, with longtime girlfriend Liza Morales. On June 29, 2006 his son Jayden died from SIDS while sleeping in his crib in New York.
Personal life aside, Khloe Kardashian is currently busy with her reality TV show "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami". As for Lamar Odom, he and his basketball team The Lakers are set to play their first preseason game on October 7.
