'Mercy' Gets a Horde of Clips and Behind the Scene
TV

Take a look at the situation inside Mercy Hospital from the perspective of the nurses and find out how each of the actors relates to his or her character.

"Parenthood" substitute "Mercy" is giving out plenty of clips from the season premiere which is happening on September 23. The compilation of clips starts out with an unexpected situation when Veronica was having breakfast and a car came screeching behind her. In a situation which is critical, the nurse is forced to take immediate medical action with limited instruments.

The rest of the clips show others like the arrival of a new nurse, Chloe who is played by Michelle Trachtenberg. Chloe is a newbie who just graduated from Columbia University on top of her class. What she lacks of is the field experience like having the guts to pull the plug out of a brain dead old man.

Beside chronicling the life of the nurses at Mercy Hospital, the show also takes the focus on Veronica's personal life. She has just returned from a tour in Iraq where she met Dr. Chris Sands. Instant attraction quickly occurs but problem is, Veronica is a married woman who is trying to mend her relationship with her husband Mike.

Released alongside the clips is a behind the scene featurette that gives away character description from the no-nonsense Veronica to head-turner Sonia.

"Mercy" is put in the Fall schedule after "Parenthood" is suffering from production delay. Maura Tierney who was cast as one of the lead characters on "Parenthood" had to undergo breast cancer treatment. A re-casting is underway with Helen Hunt being one of the candidates.
