"Twilight" leading actor Robert Pattinson has been photographed embracing his on-screen lover Kristen Stewart backstage at the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 13. He was snapped putting his right arm around her shoulders when they posed for pictures alongside another co-star Taylor Lautner.

As for Kristen, she was seen leaning her body to Robert's and putting her right arm inside his coat. Taylor, meanwhile, stood in silence right beside her while keeping his eyes focused to the lens. The photo, which can be seen at Celebrity Mania, thus adds fuel to the non-stop rumors of Robert and Kristen embarking on love relationship off screen. Neither of the two stars has offered comment on their latest photo though.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Tayor Lautner attended this year's MTV Video Music Awards held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City to lend a helping hand to present the official trailer of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". The sequel to "Twilight" is slated for November 20 U.S. release.

Meanwhile, filming on the third installment of the vampire drama movie "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" is still undergoing in Vancouver, Canada. The film will be released in theaters in U.S. on June 30 next year.
