Rumors that Avril Lavigne and her husband Deryck Whibley's marriage is on the rock refuse to go away. New claim has just been brought by New York Daily News, the two musicians are on the fast track for divorce.
The latest divorce story was provoked by Avril herself who was spotted out and about in Southampton last weekend with Deryck being nowhere to be seen. A source claimed to have seen the Canadian songstress partying hard and hanging with a number of male admirers at celebrity eatery Georgica.
Avril, moreover, was also seen at another Hamptons hot spot, Axe Lounge, where she spent her time dancing on the dance floor. "She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself," a source close to Avril tells New York Daily News. Representatives for both Avril and Deryck didn't respond to calls for comment.
Whispers of Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley getting divorced have been growing a lot louder in the past few months. They, however, have repeatedly denied separation rumors. The music stars have been married since July 15, 2006.
