The 'emotional' interview where he talks about the Rihanna-assault case will be aired by CNN on September 2.

AceShowbiz - The latest to sit with Larry King and be peeled to the core is Chris Brown. The R 'n' B singer, who was embroiled in an altercation case involving ex-girlfriend Rihanna, reveals all to the talk show host during "Larry King Live" accompanied by his mother Joyce Hawkins and attorney Mark Geragos.

This would be the first interview he conducts since his infamous February 8 arrest for assaulting Rihanna. Brown reportedly answered every question directed to him, which revolve around none other than the assault case and the couple's stormy relationship. A source has been telling media outlets that it is one emotional interview that Hawkins eventually was brought to tears.

The episode will air on Wednesday, September 2 at 6 P.M., CNN has confirmed.

After pleading guilty on August 25, Brown was officially sentenced to five years probation, 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and 180 days of community labor which he will complete in Virginia.

On another news, Joyce Hawkins released her first statement regarding her son's case via a post on TheChrisBrownFanClub.com. She wrote, "I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for your continued support. I'm sorry I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone as this case was ongoing. I can now say this has been the most painful moment in my entire life, but knowing that you were still standing by Chris' side in his time of need made this a little easier for us."

"Because of all your prayers, God brought him through," she continued. "I just want to say God has never failed me and never will. All moms and dads please stand by your children and pray for their goodness each and every day."
