Movie

Trying to find out what happens to his brother, Benicio del Toro learns the hard way about the curse that is passed on to him.

AceShowbiz - The first trailer for "The Wolfman" has finally arrived via Yahoo! Movies. More than two minutes long, the promotional video for the remake of 1941 horror thriller classic takes a look at how the myth of a cursed man is brought back to its iconic origins. It uncovers the transformation of Benicio del Toro from a noble man Lawrence Talbot into the cursed beast as well.

The trailer features Anthony Hopkins as Lawrence's father Sir John Talbot, Emily Blunt as Lawrence's love interest Gwen Conliffe, Hugo Weaving as Detective Aberline and Geraldine Chaplin as old Gypsy Maleva. In addition to giving out more to the storyline, it also teases how gory the movie will be.

Inspired by 1941 horror film from producer/director George Waggner, "The Wolfman" is set in the late 1880s and follows Lawrence Talbot, a haunted-by-his-past nobleman who is forced to go back to his family estate and meet his estranged father after his brother vanishes. Seeking to find his brother and his murderer, he soon finds out a horrifying secret cursed upon him.

"Jurassic Park III" and "Hidalgo" helmer Joe Johnston serves behind the lens for this remake to 1941 classic horror film of the same name, while "The Road to Perdition" writer David Self and the acclaimed "Se7en" scribe Andrew Kevin Walker provide the script. Originally set up for February 13, 2009 release, the movie will claw its way into U.S. theaters on February 10, 2010.
