Paul McCartney says he has no plan to retire from touring, stating that as long as people want to come to his gig, he will continue entertaining concertgoers.

AceShowbiz - Paul McCartney has put the brake on rumor suggesting he plans to embark on a final world tour next year. "All I can say is that I'm not retiring," the former member of The Beatles told Boston Herald.

"It's like 'Paul is dead'. 'No, I'm not,' is all I could say. I did talk about retirement in one sentence in one story and only to say 'No way, Jose.' But someone must have only read part of that one sentence," Paul continued. "As long as people want to come and hear me, I'll probably be doing this. It's just so easy to start rumors."

Rumor about Paul McCartney's final tour emerged late last month, claiming that he was intended to have a world tour before retiring from the road for good. At that time, he was said listing China's Tiananmen Square and Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie as two places in the world he wanted to visit during the gig.

In the meantime, Paul has at least two scheduled shows in Boston. He will perform at Fenway Park on August 5 and 6 with MGMT as his opening act.
