Garth Brooks is an inspiration for Danity Kane's ex-member Shannon Bex to make country music album, which reportedly has been worked on for quite some time in Nashville.

AceShowbiz - Shannon Bex is changing her music direction from R&B like she did in Danity Kane to country music with Garth Brooks as her inspiration. "He's such an honest performer," she told The Tennessean. "I went to his concert for the first time ever, and I was in the 300 level, but it felt like he was performing right to me."
Furthermore, it is revealed that Shannon has been spending some of her time in Nashville in order to work on materials for her debut solo studio album. "I'm just working on kind of finding my solo sound," she said. "I have been with a group for an amazing five years, and you know, it kind of happens, things move on. I want to do it right, though. I'm not jumping into anything."
Post Danity Kane split, each member of the girl group confirmed they indeed have their own projects. As Shannon Bex is concentrating on finishing her country record, D. Woods also has a solo studio project in the works. Meanwhile, Aubrey O'Day stated she will return to Broadway stage and produce her own TV show, and Dawn Richard formed a new group with Danity Kane's creator, P. Diddy, and fellow singer Kalenna.
