After making a debut on Billboard Hot 200 at number 20 with her fourth set "Begin to Hope", Regina Spektor rounded up the top 3 of U.S. albums chart this time with her fifth studio album "Far" which pulled in estimated 50,000 copies. In regard of the impressive chart performance, she says she and her label, Sire Records, are "thrilled with the overwhelming response" to the album which arrived in U.S. stores on June 23.

The album's lead single is entitled "Laughing With" and peaked at number 14 on Billboard Hot 100 since making its way out in May. Its music video was premiered a week later and made it to number 18 on iTunes Music Video chart.

In a bid to support the new album, Regina is scheduled to make live performances at several major events and popular TV shows. Just to name few, she is set to sing at U.K. Latitude Festival on July 17, and is plotted to take the stage as a musical guest at "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" on July 30.

Moreover, Regina has a number of live gigs in Canada and America. Her next stops include Chicago, Toronto, Boston and Philadelphia. Most recently, she rocked T in the Park Festival in Scotland on July 12. During the set, she delivered twelve tracks, one of which is a country song titled "Love, You're a Whore". "This is a country song I wrote, even though I'm from New York. And you're in Scotland, but it works anyway," so she introduced the track to the crowd at the festival.
