Coinciding with the Father's Day coming up this weekend, Magnolia Pictures have released the red band trailer for "World's Greatest Dad". Starring Robin Williams and Daryl Sabara as father and son duo, this dark comedy revolves around Lance Clayton, a high school poetry teacher who dreams of becoming a rich and famous writer.

As a single father with an art teacher girlfriend, he tries desperately to connect with his teenage son Kyle. However, a freak accident leaves him with the worst tragedy of his life, losing his son. While trying to protect his family from shame following the embarrassing death, he is faced with the greatest opportunity he could ever get to achieve his dream.

"World's Greatest Dad" is written and directed by Bob Goldthwait, the Michael Borland of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". It picks up a lesson that the things you want most may not be the things that make you happy, and that being lonely is not necessarily the same as being alone. It was debuted at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and will arrive in very limited theaters in the U.S. on August 21.
