Mankind's earliest civilization has warned the apocalyptic day of the world would come, both of the new trailers for "2012 (2009)" begin. Different in time length and some of the footage shown, the two promotional videos share glimpses of what the end of the world looks like as pictured by director/producer/writer Roland Emmerich in this apocalyptic movie.

One trailer premiered via Yahoo! Movies is the American version, while the other one is a German version. Displaying cataclysms happening around the world which include erupting volcano and giant tsunami, the trailers also give out a look at how people fight for survival in the world that is collapsing quickly before their very eyes.

From the man who brings forth "10,000 B.C." and "The Day After Tomorrow", "2012" presents an epic adventure about a global cataclysm leading to the end of the world and focuses on the heroic struggle of the survivors. It features the likes of John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt and Woody Harrelson. November 11 will be the day it invades the U.S. theaters.
