Adam Lambert's loss at the "American Idol" finale to the newly crowned champion Kris Allen has drawn support from Hollywood celebrities. Actress Emmy Rossum is among those famous figures who offer their support for the runner-up, writing on her Twitter account, "Adam Lambert seriously did not win? Such a let down. Kid's gonna be a massive star regardless. Go Lambert!!!"
Model Adrianne Curry, meanwhile, also takes it to her Twitter and posts a message saying, "It's ok, Adam didn't win because Americans hate gays. That's ok, you f--king homophobes, u can have ur cute mediocre singer." In addition to both stars, Kirstie Alley tweets, "The peeps I have chosen have had huge careers. Adam will have an enormous career!!"
Notwithstanding those comments, Adam Lambert himself has told US Weekly in a brief interview held post the result show of the hit singing competition that he "kind of had a feeling" Kris would win. "There was a second where I guess I, like, had to prepare myself for either possibility, and I was like, 'I think it might be Kris,'" he revealed, adding, "I felt really satisfied with [Tuesday] night's show."
