Dimension Films have finally released the first trailer for "The Road". Teasing what the drama thriller has to offer, the video footage starts by showing the world is being hit with global cataclysm which alters the face of the planet. Then, it moves on with glimpses of Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee making their way through the post-apocalyptic landscape.

The trailer has come out firstly via Yahoo! Movies. Aside from displaying the post-apocalyptic imagery and the snippets of the danger that Mortensen and his on-screen son Smit-McPhee face when going on the journey, the video also shares many glimpses of the flashback scenes, exposing Charlize Theron as the Wife.
