Following Rihanna's cancellation of Dubai concert, her fans in the region plead that the singer will consider to re-schedule the scrapped concert.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna's fans in Dubai hope that the Barbadian singer will set a makeup date for her just-canceled concert in the region. "I feel really dejected that the gig is canceled, I saved money as I was really looking forward to it. Rihanna please come to the U.A.E, we love you and you won't regret it!" read a statement posted by one of her fans Ashley R. on Gulfnews, a United Arab Emirate website which gives a space for those who want to convince Rihanna to perform in Dubai.

Rihanna was supposed to perform in Dubai on May 28 as her on-stage comeback since assaulted by Chris Brown. But, Yassin Matbouly from concert promoter Vibe Entertainment Management Agency issued a statement announcing its cancellation in late April.

"We want to share with you that Rihanna and her management will not be accepting to hold a public concert at this time as it is not appropriate timing for her," Yassin said. Though so, he stated Vibe "will not give up and will continue to put our offer to Rihanna's management for a future date."

"Vibe has been ready and was looking forward to putting this concert together for the crowd of the Middle East," Yassin added. "We have sourced venues in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and started looking into complying with her request to put the show on. This is very sad for us at this time knowing the concert will not happen."

In further statement, Yasin noted that Rihanna "is keen to still perform in the region." And, the concert may be re-scheduled after this summer.
