Awaiting for his divorce to wife Robyn Moore to be finalized, Mel Gibson has made his first public outing with new leading lady, Oksana Grigorieva, at the Los Angeles premiere of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" on Tuesday evening, April 28. The pair was snapped smiling as they hit the red carpet hand in hand.

Citing an unidentified source, Access Hollywood reported that Mel and Oksana have been dating for three years. On the pair's first public appearance at the star-studded event, the source claimed Mel wanted to attend the premiere because he is a friend of the film's producers Richard and Lauren Donner.

Little is known about Oksana's background. She is recognized as a Russian composer-actress and was the partner of former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton. Oksana and Timothy have one son named Alexander. Most recently, it was reported she's been overheard telling friends that she is carrying Mel's baby, a report which is widely believed to have prompted Robyn filing for divorce from Mel earlier this month.
