All they wanted was to have a quite time alone to save their troubled marriage and repair their broken hearts, but things go from bad to worse. A horror project by Lars von Trier, "Antichrist" has released several stills that show a brilliant cinematography by Anthony Dod Mantle ("The Last King of Scotland", "Slumdog Millionaire").

The film has no release date yet for the U.S. territory but will be released in Denmark on May 29. However, it was reported that the film starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg will be among in-competition films at this year's Cannes Festival. It will be up against Jane Campion's "Bright Star", Ken Loach's "Looking for Eric" and Michael Haneke's "The White Ribbon" among others.

The trailer had also been released weeks ago, showing the couple's struggle and the terror that they face when nature takes its course.
