AceShowbiz - Sad news comes from ailing actress Farrah Fawcett, who according to her son Redmond James O'Neal, has lost her weight to just 86 pounds due to her cancer battle. Appearing before a Los Angeles judge during a court hearing on Friday, April 17 for a violation of his parole stemming from drug charges, Redmond testified he is seeking for leniency in his case because he wants to be by his actress mother's side.
"I want to be there for my mom," the 24-year-old guy said. "My mom only weighs 86 pounds right now and I'm sorry your honor." Redmond, however, revealed no further details on her mother's recent condition.
Earlier this month, Farrah Fawcett was hospitalized at an undisclosed Los Angeles-area hospital for her long battle with anal cancer. She was claimed to be in critical condition as her cancer reportedly has spread to her liver.
Amidst sketchy details on her condition, her doctor Lawrence Piro has confirmed that the actress' hospital stay was not the result of her cancer but rather complications she suffered as a result of the alternative cancer treatments she had in Germany back in 2007. Farrah was discharged from the undisclosed hospital on April 9 and was seen being accompanied by her longtime boyfriend Ryan O'Neal.
