Putting the brake on the false rumors that Tila Tequila has been murdered, a representative for the reality TV star has issued a public statement confirming she is "doing fine". Tila "is very grateful to her fans for their concern. She appreciates everyone respecting her privacy as she deals with this matter," the representative adds.

Reports on Tila's false death were quick to spread all over the Internet soon after Radar Online ran a story on Monday, April 13 that there was a post on her Twitter account reading, "Tila Tequila is dead." The next post emerged shortly thereafter, stating "I just broke into her house, killer her and her dog. Logged onto Twitter to tell you guys. She was signed on already. Tila Tequila is dead."

However, it was later on revealed that both posts were fake. They were made by an obsessed fan of Tila. Identity of the fan hasn't been made public though.

Tila herself wastes no time to pour cold water on the mounting reports. She wrote a confirmation on her Twitter that read, "Pt1 This is Tila. I am deeply sorry for the earlier post about me being dead. I don't know who logged into my account and wrote that. Pt.2 but someone did indeed break into my house. It's been a very scary night for me. It's 4:10 A.M. now and have been dealing with it all."

In another post she stated, "Pt.3 too much has happened. I am scared, exhausted and drained but I am ok! Want to apologize to my fans who were worried about me. Im moving into a different house very soon because I have a stalker who is very much so endangering my life at the moment ..... I love u all." She then continued writing a last post, "Then I found my dog locked in the trunk of my car!!!!!!!!!! I've been crying all night. THis is f***** up. I'm sad and shocked and bye�Im still shaking and crying! My dog in the trunk of the car, house is shattered, everything is smashed! I'm staying at a friend's house 2nite."

Giving no clue on Tila's current whereabouts, her representative does confirm that no police were called to the scene when the incident occurred. At time of writing, it is not known if Tila will pursue a legal action against her obsessed fan.
