Lauren Conrad's best friend Lo Bosworth doesn't hide the fact that she thinks Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt may do well if they replace Lauren as the headlining act of 'The Hills'.

While everything surrounding season 6 of "The Hills" remains blurry following Lauren Conrad's exit from the show, one of the reality TV cast members, Lo Bosworth, has spoken out on the possibility of the series surviving without its star. Sharing her opinion to E! Online, she went on further stating she thinks Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt could probably replace Lauren as the series' headlining act.

On Thursday, April 9, at the IS vodka-sponsored opening of new Hollywood nightspot Halo, Bosworth suggested the possibility, pointing out on the couple's ability to gather press. "They get great press on their own, so there's always the possibility that the show can do really well with them as main parts," so the "Laguna Beach" personality claimed.

Aside from talking about Spencer and Heidi, Lo also hinted that Lauren may still make occasional appearance in the series if it moves on without her. "[Lauren] hasn't filmed in weeks and she's really excited about that," she explained. "I think she'll come back for special occasions and stuff, but we just don't know how many episodes she'll return for or if there will be another season. It's really just all up in the air."

Season 5 of "The Hills" has been premiered Monday, April 6. There will be 10 episodes for the season. With Lauren Conrad previously confirming that season 5 will be her last participation in the show, there is doubt that MTV will continue it for a sixth season. Of the 6th season, an MTV spokesperson said, "We cannot confirm a sixth season at this time. However, 'The Hills' will continue as long as there are stories to tell, and as of now we don't see an end in sight."
